Raw cacao & date balls | Recipes


RAW CACAO & DATE BALLS

Gluten, dairy-free, vegan chocolate bliss balls. 
Makes 15-20 balls

It's been a while since I made these cacao and date balls, and I don't remember the exact recipe that I used for them. So the following recipe I've provided is via Veggieful. They make a delightful healthy snack or dessert, minus the guilt.

Ingredients
   1 1/3 cups pitted medjool dates 
   1/3 cup walnuts
   1/3 cup almonds
   1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
   3 tablespoons shredded coconut, extra for dusting
   2 tablespoons cacao powder
   1 tablespoon water (optional)

Method
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until completely combined.
2. Take 1 tablespoon portions of the mixture and roll them into balls until all of the mixture has been used. Dust with extra coconut.
3. Refrigerate until needed.
